Today we worked on our introduction and 1st body paragraph. You need to do any research on your own at home for your intro- we will not have the chromebooks to use. Please follow the 'My Papa's Waltz' format for the essay- look at your own essay and any comments I made, and look at my essay posted on our website.
Reminder- When we peer edit on Tuesday, you need to have your poem/ song printed or written out so the reviewer can read it before they read your essay. Today we worked on 10 new vocab words. The words are quest, random, reinforce, seclusion, status, turmoil, nomadic, abound, despondent, embezzle.
Homework: Draw pictures for each word. Make sure you have your poem/song, TPCASTT, and organizer ready for tomorrow's class. Today we played Jeopardy to review TPCASTT and vocab words.

If you are having trouble finding a poem, you may use any of the poems on the worksheets you got in class. We are starting to write our rough drafts on Wednesday so you need to have all the work complete. Today we worked on writing riddles. If you weren't in class, you do not need to make this work up.
